About Me

As an early childhood advocate, I serve as the Montgomery County Coordinating Council Chair and previously served on the Maryland Association for the Education of Young Children Board of Directors.

I strive to promote high quality early childhood education that aims to provide a child-centered practice that emphasizes respect for the child and is inclusive to all children regardless of their race, language, skills or family structure. I embrace the importance of play and the connection to nature. I endorse authentic and reflective teaching and create a collaborative environment by the creation of partnerships with families, colleagues and the community.

 

As a family advocate, I support families by strengthening adults and empowering them to create a balanced life schedule that fulfills all family members' needs while establishing a calm environment.
